School
Portraits *
Traditionally,
school portrait day has been a day to benefit students, their parents,
and of course, the commercial portrait studios that take the pictures.
Most schools do not see any of the profits from the sale of traditional
picture packages. And the few schools that do receive a portion
of the sales usually receive a very low percentage (i.e., 10-20%)
of total profits.
Francis Kavanagh Photography offers an alternative program. In general,
school portrait day continues as it always has. A day is selected
to take school pictures. Notices and order forms are sent home to
parents. Parents prepay for one of several preset packages. Come
school portrait day, weather permitting, pictures are taken outside.
A few weeks later (depending on the size of the school), finished
packages are available for students to take home.
What's
the difference, then, between the school portrait program offered
by Francis Kavanagh Photography and those offered by commercial
studios? First, Francis Kavanagh donates
50% of all school portrait sales back to the school -- no hidden strings. We challenge
you to find another photography studio offering such generous
terms. Second, and of equal importance, parent
satisfaction with Francis Kavanagh's school portraits is unsurpassed. While previously
with another well-established portrait studio in Eastern Massachusetts,
Frank Kavanagh was the photographer school principals requested
by name year after year. We can't think of two better reasons
to switch to Francis Kavanagh Photography for your schools next
round of school portraits. Can you?
